When black turns gold...
There are moments when the inner journey crosses an invisible threshold.
After the shadow comes the light.
After the fallen feather comes the transfigured feather.
In this month of July, the crow continues its metamorphosis.
His wings are covered in gold and his feathers become talismans.
Gold, a symbol of immortality in so many traditions, enhances black —
like a ray of sunshine on ink.
CORVUS AVREVM is a new exhibition.
His monumental installation, Homage to MF
– more than two hundred suspended feathers, like a flight frozen in space –,
is accompanied by new paintings and works forming an inner alchemy, between silence and presence.
A breath. An offering. A flight.
