Patrice Schreyer has been a photographer for more than twenty years. It is during his travels in the mountains that he discovered his passion for this art. Wherever he goes, whatever he photographs, he always manages to share his universe with us with a rare sensitivity. His work combines a strong aestheticism with an elegance that has its roots in the sobriety of chiaroscuro.

His new series of photographs is an abyss: how to photograph his own words? Like the haikus, the Swiss artist incisively expressed his thoughts, like flashes of lucidity in the darkness of the night.

His snippets of clairvoyance have been rewritten and staged to transform into a gallery of portraits where words are mysterious characters who invite a double reading: the aesthetic of the composition and the meaning of the sentences....
