Kindness is the best source of spiritual insight.
Miguel de Unamuno (The tragic feeling of life, trans. Marcel Faure-Beaulieu, p.41, Idées/Gallimard n°68)
“I believe that photography is an adaptation of vision to a spiritual necessity: the eye forms an image which in its turn, through its inmost resonances, refocuses and transforms the gaze itself.”

The Spiritual
A place, like a human being, contains its mysteries and its own personality. The Chartreuse has a history dating back to the 14th century. We do not know exactly how many monks stayed there, but what is certain is the spiritual intensity that reigned there.
The Carthusians were expelled on March 26, 1538 by the Reformation, but poetically, we find ourselves thinking that they could have magically joined the Cartuja de Sevilla as a final refuge.
The project is inspired by this improbable dream.
